Are Christmas trees ok with parrotlets?
I wouldn't want Tino to eat any of it and get poisoned. :(
Can't be too careful can you?

I won't be letting him near anyway, just in case he chews on the wire for the lights.

Here's a list of safe trees for birds. So I guess a Christmas tree would be OK as long as it wasn't sprayed with anything before you bought it.

Hahah speaking of Christmas trees, my little Abby is so afraid of the artificial tree for some reason. Guess it's good she won't chomp on the lights but I wonder why it scares her drats

Abby must be afraid just because it's new and she doesn't know what it is. We never know what's going to scare our little guys! It always seem to be something we don't expect.

You could take her on your finger and walk slowly up to the tree. As soon as she starts to pull away, don't go any closer. Just praise her and take her back to a place that's comfortable for her . Do this a few times and hopefully she will become more comfortable around the tree. :)
