I have just come in from work and checked on my birds and i never seen anything like it sky is in a right state it looks like all her features have bben plucked out on her chest and she is bleeding from one of her wings, after watching them i realised it is scooby attacking her  why, do you think he wants to breed again.
I am not sure what to do really shall i seperate them for a while or leave her, but she looks scared stiff.

It's not un common for a pair that have bred before successfully to go after each other. It's also not uncommon sadly for one to kill the other, they just become overly aggressive at breeding time. If they were my pair I would not put them together again after this. Losing a beloved bird to have babies is never worth it. They gave you some very beautiful babies already so now they have to be separated.

thanks Bonnie
I am not going to put Sky back with Scooby, she is looking abit shuck up battered at the moment and is recovering in a cage by herself.
I would not want to lose Sky, she was one of my first parrotlets and she has given 2 batches of lovely babies, so a bit of pampering for her from now on
i remember what happened to poor bubbles and how sad that was.

Thats very sad to hear Jackie, this is strange why they sometimes do this but as we know they do. Like Bubble and Squeak in a round about way she died because he bit her toes off I know not from the bite but if he hadn't bitten her she would still be here.

I think you have done best by removing her and I wouldn't put any one else in with him again just in case, I am guessing he wants to breed and she doesn't but there is no way of confirming that.

Sky past1 is looking a little better now, but still a little shocked.
I am going to keep Scooby by himself, as i dare not put another bird with him as he seems well angry, at the moment he is really trying his hardest to destroy a toy. must be his hormones

I'm so glad you moved Sky out of the cage. I agree she can't be put back in with Scooby. Just keep an eye on her wounds. Poor little girl!! crying

Everyone is right Jackie, you made a good decision to remove her. Who knows why animals/birds behave the way the do sometimes  Humans too!!!

Poor Sky! Had he ever attacked her before?
It might be worth giving Scooby a small fluffy toy to *ahem* work out his frustrations on!
