Drummer has like corns on both his feet..
They have been there ever since I had him
The avian vet thinks its from being kept in a small
cage when he was young...
The downside of this is.. he cant be cured of them...
Yesterday we went to Cardiff.. 100 mile round trip
just for his nails to be cut... £22.00 ...and a check up..
of his feet...
He cant have rough perches so his nails dont wear down...
Looks like he will need a manicure ever 3-4 months
for th rest of his life..
Why do people have animals if they dont look after them
properly in the 1st place?

Its left Drummer in pain sometimes and me with an added expence

Awe poor little Drummer, it's so sad that people do these things to pets. Jo Jo was in a very small cage too when I got him but luckily no damage. I know it's an added expense but being the person you are Jan you will be sure to try to make him comfortable.
