Almost wish I was'nt going on holiday so I could get him sooner... almost! Does anyone know whats going on with the colouring of his beak? I'm asumming its just growing and hardening/changing colour? Thanks Guys Oh p.s i won his cage on ebay for .99p what a bargan!!

Like Jackie said baby parrotlets have pink on their beaks. That's one of the way of telling a baby from an adult. :)

The previous owner cleaned it but of course I will give it another thorough cleaning. Fairy liquid (dish soap) some anti bacterial spray plus a good rinse? Or is a proper cage cleaner best. Lol

My name is I'll give you a clue	What you have suggested is fine to clean a cage with, well thats what I use anyway and I have had no problems, sounds like you got yourself a bargain there :)

Breeder said he is nearly 100% weaned and would be ready to go next week... unfortunately I am going home to Canada for 3 weeks and will not have him till early August... seems like a long time to wait! Cage is nearly set up, just a few more bits to go. Enjoy! hug
