I'm off this afternoon to Wales for the weekend, and as we go right by Newport I may be popping in to Tracey and sue and getting a new baby!!! Fingers crossed we have time, I'm travelling with my mother and sister, they're not keen on the idea- I see nothing wrong with popping in to get a parrot, perfectly normal to me!!!

I have my new baby!!! He's a pied celestial male, and is absolutely gorgeous. I'm still coming up with names, but will probably call him Digby. He's approx 10 / 11 weeks old, and is quite babyish, a bit clumsy and tiring quickly
He seemed to enjoy the journey home and had a little adventure on the way too. I was travelling with my pregnant sister, who needs regular food and loo breaks so we stopped at the pub. I took him into the garden with us and he had a lovely time watching hoverflies!. I must admit I was very embarrased at first, and ready to go sit in the car with him, but he was really no trouble. My sister said she didn't mind so long as I didn't talk to him- I only broke that promise 3 or 4 times, not bad!!!
Naboo knows there is a parrotlet in the house and is going mad calling and demanding to be let out of his cage- I don't know if he wants to be friends or enemies yet!
Have just had our first training session, he was very good at being picked up and did a few step ups. It was hard putting him back after ten minutes, he's so sweet, but he started yawning and I didn't want to tire him out.
Photos are on their way xxx
