Posted Image .... and baby achilles!!! (he was born with really badly splayed legs which we managed to fix.. although sometimes the one will go stiff for a few minutes, bless him) Posted Image......> him when he was a baby with his baddy legs :( Posted Image And again smithy.... he's very protective of the nest box!!! lol!!!!! I've got a male spectacled, it's nice to have some more on the forum! Think you're the first one here with green-rumps, what are they like compared to the spectacleds behaviour-wise? They're a bit smaller too, aren't they? I'd love to see some piccies of the babies when they hatch (hint, hint!)

Im from South Wales! near Cardiff. The Green rumped are really lovely! about half an inch smaller than the speccies. But they are very shy and can be jumpy. so they are futhest away in my outhouse. I just need them to breed for me now!!!! lol!!!! Yeah My speccies are on 2 eggs! can't wait for the babies. We had problems with the first clutch. The first 2 babies hatched died. And the one that survived had really bad splayed leggs. I tried to PS ring but the parents kept removing it. It was a tight squeeze so not sure if the damaged legs had anything to do with the parents removing the rings. I Love my parrotlets! Is your speccie tame schematalie?

I got a celestial baby a few weeks ago which he is desperate to get to, so i've had a few nips off him recently! I've been told they are less feisty than the celestials, i'm not sure about that - my one does think he rules the roost!

Aww is he jelous of the newbie?? Yeah my male daddy speccie Smithy thinks he's a macaw! and baby achillies is becoming a feisty little bugger. He nibbles/bites me but he's starting to feed from my hand. He's special.
