new to owning birds Posts: 264 Group: Full Members Member #3,402 Joined: May 16, 2011 How many Parrotlets do you have 1 What types pacific parrotlet What colours green I live in dorset My name is jez	your telling me, if this isnt it then i dunno what we'l do. but i think his left foot seems a little stronger this morning.after the fun filled task of giving him calcium. and hes got millet in his cage, which is high in calcium apparently. but his right foot is still no improvement. i suppose over night is abit of miracle isnt it? lol. give it a couple more days.

California My name is Andy	What kind of light does he get in the home? Birds require a certain amount of UV (can't remember if it's UVA or UVB) to absorb calcium into their system. There's a thread here somewhere that talks about this. Sorry I don't have the link but maybe someone else does or you can search the forums.
