Lol @Jez!! We got him a girlfriend called Jaime but lost her over winter. Laura he is small but chunky! He's about 8 inches head to tail. He's big up top and small like a tear drop shape. The pictures do no justice for his colours he's so bright but my iPhone has no flash and only 3 or 5 mp can't even remember!! |

He is a goldies lorikeet. Hens are like gold dust, I'm not 100% sure if he didn't let her inthe box the night we lost her because she was in flight and not box! He won't be a breeding bird. Hens should be paired up with a good breeding cock. since we have had him I have only seen 3 pairs ( on seperate occassions) for sale. I was sold a pair and a hen through a good lorikeet / Lory breeder. You see cocks for sale quiet regular. If my pair were to breed and did have a hen Id only sell her to someone reliable and not to use her as a cash cow like alot of people do. |

Gordon is out about 2-6 hours a day he has a good fly around at first! He just loves to fly so with him I would never clip him. Him and pancake have a love hate relationship! Gordon will display to Pancake and sometimes they sit next to each other ( pancake as natural perches and where they stick out his cage Gordon sits there so the bars are still there!) they shout! One night we left gordon out ( his cage is always open if he wants to go back in) and he was sitting by pancake and they were preening brought the bars!! A love hate relationship lol!!! |

haha, awwww. at least theyr friends some times then. pancake looks like such an odd lil fellow, think its because im use to seeing parrotlets that are pacifics and hes a speccy right? got the blue ring round his eye...sort of reminds me of over the top bright blue eyeshadow lol! is there any birds in the house pancake really loves? gordon is so cute! didnt know there were such colourful little parrots theat are the same size as the parrotlets. oh yea how are those new birds your hubby bought? tango and cash right? |

Gordon is alot bigger than pancake hehe!! I love the speccies eyes! The blue is such a differen colour to the celestials! I reminds me of my auntys make up in the 80's!! I keep my other p'lets in a outhouse, his mum lives out there. Tango and Cash are doing great! So flighty though :S I got myself 2 green rumps because I have a pair I've had years and there not breeding. I posted something about them in my parrotlet section. They are settling great too! Fingers crossed!! |
