Okay, so the update for this morning is that Zuben has not begged for any formula and his weight is maintained. So he is on the right track now. I am glad that he is doing so good now. :)

If the breeder keeps him long enough to make sure he’s totally off of formula, then I doubt it will be a problem. I think a lot of the problem Nickie is what I said yesterday…Zuben is at that “fine line” of the weaning stage! :)

I couldn't agree more Gail. 7 weeks is just a bit too young to be fully weaned without wanting any formula. Once he gets past the 8 week stage he should actually wean himself.
