Got my female...; good and bad news

We are discussing that she may grow out of it, but as a precaution we are going to nebulize for a few more days since it does reduce seem to help with the tail bob slighltly (it's not as pronounced after the treatment). I'm also going to pick up a humidifier today and see if that helps. It's a little dry in my home right now.

I don't want to risk the rest of my flock, so I'm just being extra careful.

That sounds like a good idea just be careful which humidifier you get.

This is one article from a vet about the use of Humidifiers. I know many people use them but when I worked for the avian vet he said NO you don't need them just mist your birds on a regular basis.

That's good info...I didn't know that about the humidifier. Ours is built into the furnace so I don't think it's a problem... :unsure:
